This yoga is not possible, for the one who eats too much, or who does not eat at all; who sleeps too much, or who keeps awake.
Bhagavad Gita quotes
Yoga is bodily gospel.
Reaven Fields
The meaning of our self is not to be found in its separateness from God and others, but in the ceaseless realisation of yoga, of union; not on the side of the canvas where it is blank, but on the side where the picture is being painted.
Rabindranath Tagore
You can enter yoga, or the path of yoga, only when you are totally frustrated with your own mind as it is. If you are still hoping that you can gain something through your mind, yoga is not for you
Osho
Yoga is really trying to liberate us from … shame about our bodies. To love your body is a very important thing — I think the health of your mind depends on your being able to love your body.
Rodney Yee

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
Buddha
Constant practice alone is the secret of success.
Hatha Yoga Pradipika
Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built.
Rumi
REAL Peace is always unshakable… Bliss is unchanged by gain or loss
Yogi Bhajan
Yoga, an ancient but perfect science, deals with the evolution of humanity. This evolution includes all aspects of one’s being, from bodily health to self realization. Yoga means union – the union of body with consciousness and consciousness with the soul. Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day to day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.
B.K.S. Iyengar
I wanted to make a video of the latest meditation and I was happy to get this amazing footage of the event.
Here’s a short video of Satya performing a mantra with mudras, and the reaction of the participants to the meditation.
Please keep in touch and subscribe to our newsletter if you’d like to be kept in touch with other workshops and events to be held at the studio.
For this Yoga Day, the Yoga Teacher’s Fellowship has organised the Kundalini Yoga community to present kriya and kirtan, please send Wendy an email to book your space, nandiva@wol.co.za

Kundalini Yoga for Stress
Some of our day-to-day stressors build our capacity, our muscle and our teeth for life.
But sometimes our ’stress monster’ gets so out of hand that we don’t know who we are anymore. That becomes a great pain of life when our authentic, royal, regal and sovereign self is dethroned or left forever undiscovered.
We deserve to be rid of that deep-seated stress to be able to look with all new eyes and so handle the diversity of life.
In this class we will work with the elements and enter the stress-free zone. All levels welcome – even if you have never practiced Kundalini Yoga .
“You can be above the energy of life and ride it or you can be below the energy of life and have it ride you. This is where Kundalini Yoga fits in. It teaches you how to ride the energy.”
Yogi Bhajan
Pritam Hari Kaur Khalsa teaches Kundalini Yoga and teacher training. She has published a picture book in yoga, called the Kundalini Yoga Fan. She shares a wealth of knowledge in natural foods and healing through her and her husband Har Bhajan’s brand, FRUITS & ROOTS NATURAL FOODS.
Satya Kirtan
Kirtan is the art of devotional music that invites us as a sangat, a congregation, to celebrate and praise source through chant. It is the experience of the individual elevating to a state of merger. The gathering of the voices around us draws us into our own experience and what we share with the group. We might have felt that we cannot sing – but we can still chant! We explore breath and voice to awaken our expression in this class of kirtan and chant.
SATYA has been chanting and sharing for the past two years and is focussed through the musical excellence of
Natalie Vlismas/ Siri Kirtan Kaur (voice, piano) and Gidon Lazarus (guitar) and friends.
